2 million Naira scholarships for twenty (20) students

 

Introduction:

Applicants are invited for GANI FAWEHINMI ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS 2017.

The award if for 20 students each of whom will receive one Hundred Thousand Naira Each (N100,000) making a total sum of Two Million Naira (2,000,000)

CRITERIA FOR AAWARD

1.            Applicants must be poor and indigent

2.            Applicants must be registered students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria i.e universities, polytechnics and colleges of education

3.            Applicants must have good academic performance

MODE OF APPLICATION

A.      Each applicant shall submit al application letter, not more than two pages. The letter must include the name of candidate, course and year of study, state of origin and why the candidate believes that he or she should be given the award.

B.      The application letter must be accompanied by:

                                 i.            A photocopy of the candidate’s current identity card

                               ii.            A letter from the candidate’s current Head of Department, including correct information on the candidate’s CGPA for the last academic session.

                              iii.            A letter from the Registrar certifying that the candidate is a student of the institution.

                             iv.            A copy of the candidate’s registration form the current semester, and

                               v.            Two current passport photographs

The application letter, with all supporting documents, should be forwarded (by hand or postal delivery) to:

INTERVIEW

         i.            Awka: Applicants will be interviewed on Tuesday, August 29^th 2017 at ASUU Secretariat, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka by 10:00 am

       ii.            Abuja: will be interviewed on Tuesday, September 12^th 2017 at Festus Iyayi, , ASUU National Secretariat, University of Abuja, KIri Campus, Abuja at 10:00 am

      iii.            Lagos: Abuja: will be interviewed on Tuesday, September 26^th 2017 at Nigerian Law Publications House Otunba  JObi Fele-way, C.B.d., Alausa Ikeja Lafiaji, Lagos at 10:00am

AWARD CEREMONY

Successful candidates will be awarded the Scholarships on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Nigerian Law Publications House Otunba  JObi Fele-way, C.B.d., Alausa Ikeja Lafiaji, Lagos at 12:00 Noon.

STUDENTS WHO HAVE ONCE WON THE SCHOLARSHIP ARE NOT ELIGIBLE
