Unions And FUO Management Brainstorm On The Way Forward

The Vice Chancellor Federal University Otuoke, Prof. Seth Accra Jaja has called on relevant bodies in the University to close ranks with management in order to achieve the primary objective of building a world class University.

Prof. Jaja made this call at the 5th meeting of Congregation held at the University Auditorium of the Skills Acquisition Center, Wednesday, 28 June 2017.

The Vice Chancellor who said development can only be achieved in an atmosphere of peace noted that the sanity of a Federal University must be maintained.

He advised that the University as a Federal Institution cannot be divided along ethno-religious lines, he however warned anybody or group of persons who are propagating such to quickly redress their steps.

The VC who used the occasion to say that his administration has addressed most staff agitations directed that all appraisal exercises for promotion should be concluded before August this year for implementation in October 1, 2017 after ratification by the Governing Council.
