POST CONFERENCE EXPERIENCE: FUO ALREADY REAPING DIVIDENDS




The 6th African Regional Research Conference on Governance and Economic Development hosted by Federal University Otuoke may have come and gone but the institution is still reaping dividends from the 2 day event which held on 10th – 11th August 2017.

Chairperson Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the conference, Dr. Love Arugu August 15 2017 donated six copies of Journals and books to the University Library.


Leading a delegation comprising the Public Relations Officer Ms. Mercy Ekott and a member of the LOC – Dr. John kalama, Dr. Arugu made a formal presentation of the learning materials to the University Librarian, Mr. Hudron Kari in his office, domiciled in the Library of the University.

She said the books and Journals are expected to add to the knowledge base of the School.


Receiving the donation, the University Librarian Mr. Hudron Kari thanked the donors, stating that books constitute a library which in turn helps students in their academic work.

The Journals and books donated include:
- New Perspective on Personnel Management and Organisational Performance authored by Bassey Anam
- The Framework of Public Administration authored by Bassey Anam
- Basic Reading in Hospitality and Tourism Management authored by Bassey Anam and Esther Adebitan
