FUO Looses Another 100level Student

FUO have been thrown into mourning again as another student passes on.

Emmanuel Somtochukwu Okoye, a 100 level student from the department of Economics & Dev. Studies finally gave up the ghost after being in coma for a month, he was involved in a ghastly motor accident on 1 September, 2018.

Speaking with our correspondent earlier this morning, the president of the department, Comr. Omeire Joseph after confirming the news told us that he (Emmanuel) traveled back home to be with his parents during the student week. On that faithful day, he went to assist the father who has a shop at Aba, Abia State and when he was done, he took a bike and on his way home, the motorcycle had an accident with a trailer.


He was rushed to a hospital in Aba and was later transfered to another hospital in Owerri, IMO State where he was till he gave up the ghost on Sunday 31st September, 2018.

A relative who spoke with us today via a telephone conversation confirmed the incidence and said plans are being made for his burial as his corpse was already in the mortuary.

This is the second death to be recorded in FUO this session.
