NATIONAL UNION OF CAMPUS JOURNALISTS Commences Sales Of Forms For 2018 Electoral Positions

The electoral umpire of the National Union of Campus Journalists, (NUCJ) North Central/South East region wish to notify interested and qualified members of this great Union that the sale of forms for the various elective positions in the union has commenced today 8th October,  2018.

The underlisted guidelines must be strictly adhere to by any interested candidate.

ELIGIBILITY:

✔ Interested candidate must be a bonafide member of UCJ/ACJ/NACJ/NUCJ or other recognised press community in his/her institution;

✔ Aspirant(s) must be of an outstanding character which must align with the growth of the union at the local and/or the national level

✔ Interested Aspirant must have actively participated at the local level (institution) for a minimum period of 3 semesters

✔Such Aspirant must have an enviable records of good comradeship, godliness, team player as such qualities will be avouch by from respective aspirants local executives; duly assented to by his/her local President and the Director General.

POSTS AND THEIR PRICETAGS:

President: #4,000.00 (The sum of four thousand Naira only)

Vice President/General Secretary/Public Relations Officer/Financial Secretary/Regional Heads (For the six geopolitical zones)/Treasurer/Asst. General Secretary/Accountant General.

Interested and qualified members are to make payments for office of choice to Union bank account as stated below.

Evidence of payment should be sent to the electoral committee Chairman, Mr. Victor Odion via the WhatsApp platform. 

We therefore reaffirm and urge interested and qualified candidate(s) that payment should be made on or before 17th,  October, 2018; as this will afford the committee to meet up with all responsibilities, supposed logistics and contingencies.

Kindly note again that DEADLINE FOR THE PAYMENTS IS 17TH,  OCTOBER, 2018.
